great things take time. your candle needs 10 days to cure, allowing the wax and fragrance to fully bind for the best possible scent throw.

classic: 8.5oz, burn time of 30-35 hours

deluxe: 16oz, burn time of 60-70 hours

taking care of your candle helps ensure quality and longevity. it’s best to follow these steps:

— on your first burn, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the vessel.

— with every consecutive burn, trim  your wick to 1/4” before lighting. (never leave your wick trimmings in the vessel!)

— when you’ve reached the last 1/4” of wax, it’s time to clean out the jar and reuse in whichever way your heart desires.

safety first:

— never leave a candle burning unattended, or in reach of pets and/or children.

— do not burn your candle for longer than 4 hours.

— burn candle on a heat resistant surface.

butterscotch + bourbon:

top notes:

— cardamom: spicy and aromatic. cardamom is a herbaceous perennial plant in the ginger family.

— peppercorn: spicy, smoky, and woody. peppercorns are the fruit of a vine and come in the green, black, white, and red varieties.

— praline: warm, balsamic and nutty. there are renditions of praline candy found all over the world. the american south’s version uses pecans, while the french version uses almonds.

middle notes:

— brown sugar: warm and balsamic. brown sugar is made from sugar cane or sugar beets.

— butterscotch: sweet, rich, and buttery. butterscotch is made from two ingredients: butter and brown sugar.

— vanilla: rich and comforting. vanilla is the only edible fruit of the orchid family, the largest family of flowering plants.

base notes:

— bourbon: sweet gourmand with a nuanced dark fruit aroma. all bourbon is whiskey, but not all whiskey is bourbon. bourbon must be aged in a charred white oak barrel.

— marshmallow: a blend of vanilla, powdery and fruity notes. marshmallow root’s extract was first used to make candy in ancient egypt.

— oak: woody, dry and smoky. oak contains vanillin, lactones, and tannins that give wine and whiskey their sweet, smoky, and spicy notes.
